I usually clean up from dinner and straighten the house after we put Parker down for the night. Tonight, I walked into the kitchen and saw this:
Which made me smile. Parker is starting to show signs of "Mommy attachment" and played at my feet most of the day.

He helped me with the laundry.
(And yes, that is a child-proof lock laying amidst the toys.)

Played some football while I checked my e-mail.

And then brought all his toys into the kitchen while I cooked supper.
(And yes, that is a child-proof lock laying amidst the toys.)As I cleaned up tonight and thought about our day, I had to stop and thank God for my messy kitchen floor. My prayer is that little stinker who follows me around all day will see God's glory in everything I do.
