So I've been accused of abandoning the blog. It wasn't my intention, but going back to work full-time, chasing an "all boy" 2 year old, and being PREGNANT have kept me from lots of things lately! But...it is Fall Break here in Griffin and I finally found some time to update!
We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Addison Claire Todd. We are hoping that she will grace us with her presence any day now. We are ready to meet her! She is measuring big like her brother and we have sonogram scheduled for next week. After that appointment, we will determine the "course of action." (whether to induce or not!)
Parker is talking up a storm and has become very dramatic. (a trait his father says comes from..uh hum...me) The poor child has no idea that his little world is about to be rocked with the arrival of "sissy." He knows that there is "sissy's room" and "sissy's blankie" and will point to my belly when asked "where is sissy?" But...I really don't think he has a CLUE about this "sissy" and how she will be invading his little utopia soon. I figure he will react in one of two ways: 1. He won't even care or 2. He will turn into the creature from the black lagoon. We shall see.
I am working full-time again, back in the classroom. My wonderful part-time position was the victim of local budget cuts and I was left with the choice of no job or back to teaching. After two years OUT of the classroom, I landed back into self-contained EIP Kindergarten. (kids that haven't been in any type of preschool) Needless to say, it's been challenging! I am enjoying all the comedy that comes from being back with kids all day!
Joshua is teaching honors and AP English and is Department Head. He stays busy with school and running. He just finished a half-marathon a few weekends ago.
Below are some of Parker's 2 year pictures along with some of our family. It is a little sad that these are the last pictures of our family of three...but I'm really looking forward to adding baby GIRL to the mix!
