Surprise!!! We were SHOCKED to say the least! But, we know that this is a part of God's Sovereign Plan! Baby Todd is due to arrive around the end of October. Parker will turn TWO in August. Needless to say...we will be busy.

First Big Boy Haircut
I'm sure you remember Parker's rat-tail. If not, click here. So, technically he's had his first haircut when I snipped off the baby mullet. But today, Parker had his first Big Boy Haircut and he did GREAT. He wasn't so sure at first, but once he spotted the hairdryer it was smoooooth sailing! Grandmamma went with us and took some great pictures and a video!
I don't know about this mom...
Oh. I can hold this hairdryer? I'm cool.

Such a BIG BOY!

Things Parker loves:
Mamma's hairdryer
Listening to Daddy's I-pod (as seen in the picture above!)
Grapes
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse
Climbing...on anything
Books
Bathtime
Playing chase
Words Parker can say:
Juice
Bye Bye
Da-Da
Papaw
Grandaddy (it's more like Gdid)
Grape
Football
Thank You
Bear (Aunt Mere)
Down
Yooohoo (he learned this one from Mamaw)
And pretty much will repeat anything you ask him to except for MAMMA. He has yet to call me by name. Geez.
We spent a few days in the mountains at Mamaw and Papaw's house this past week. It was lots of fun. I'm not sure why I even pack clothes because it seems Parker and I never leave our pajamas while we are there! The video below shows Parker trying to be like Papaw. He started out IN the car Papaw was pushing, then somehow ended up pulling the wagon and imitating Papaw's every move. If you listen carefully, you can hear him say "Papaw" which makes my heart smile every time. I am so thankful for every moment we have with my Daddy and the memories we are making.

SNOW!
We've got about 3 inches already here in Griffin and it is still coming down strong! It took us about 10 minutes to get everyone bundled up to spend about 15 minutes outside in the "blizzard." Parker LOVED it. He took off running as soon as the garage door opened. It was so much fun!

He was RUNNING down the driveway. I just knew he was gonna bust it...but he didn't!

He just HAD to get his car out! There might be someone who needs help!

The only way we could get him inside was to say he could watch "Mickey" (his new favorite show) So, here he is warming up watching Mickey eating some goldfish...life is good.

Stages
Parker turns 18 months old next week and I've been looking back through some pictures. I've noticed that as Parker moves from one "stage" to the next, he tends to have a favorite "thing."

Jump!
We had our great friends the Stansberrys over for some Pizza and Playtime the other night. Their daughter Lawson was showing us how she can jump. Parker thought it was too fun and tried to jump himself. He can't seem to figure out why his feet aren't leaving the ground. It is too cute. I got a quick video of his "jumping ability" tonight. Also, Parker is becoming quite the copycat lately. We have to be careful what we say as he is bound to repeat it...over and over and over. He's apparently seen us use tissues as you can see from the video below! (except...we usually don't eat our tissues)
